The script has already been written, all the actors are in place. The stage has been set and all that is left to do is to call, “Lights, Camera, and action.” But then out of nowhere one of the lead casting roles decides they have a better idea, and uses creative license on a script that has no wiggle room for it. This is what has happened in the case of Passover. Yah has already chosen His unblemished Lamb and has cast Yahushah (Jesus) in the star role for the position, when out of nowhere someone decides to carryout one of the biggest heists in history and remove the focus from the Lamb of God to the Easter bunny of fertility. The switcheroo has now been done and the supporting cast has chosen to go with the make shift script rather than stay true to the original. The wicked one is the mastermind behind changing truths to lies, and making people believe the lie is the truth.   There is no way we can get three days and three nights from good Friday to Easter Sunday, just as there is no way we can make a Passover lamb an Easter bunny that lays chicken eggs. Let’s keep the fairy tales separate from the living truth. I recognize these traditions make for fun activities for children, going on egg hunts and finding chocolate bunnies in hidden places, but these lies are no different than offering up our children to Molech. (Jer. 32:35) They are just as vile to the Father as KKK hunts for hanging people on trees as a form of amusement for their families to watch and parade around. That last statement may offend many but when you really study the history of where these eggs came from and the sacrifices that were offered to the Queen of heaven for them then you will see that my analogy is not farfetched. Passover is not a Jewish thing it is a Jesus thing.

Someone call 9-1-1 our Passover Lamb has been hi-jacked by a bunny. That’s right you heard me correctly for thousands of years the children of Israel, the people of the Most High. You know the ones who the scripture teaches YHWH inhabits their praises (Psalms 22:3) has been instructed for hundred’s of years before Messiah died on the cross for us to offer up lambs on the altar on behalf of the people has now been upstaged by a rabbit. An unclean animal not fit to eat, if offered on YHWH’s alter would be considered an abomination, now stands as the sacrificial lamb of choice by those who profess Jesus Christ as Lord. Yes indeed, I say another Jesus is being preached from the pulpit that resembles not the original story. (2 Cor. 11:4) Let’s see do you believe that the first born of Israel would have been spared if they had placed the blood of the Easter bunny over their household? Do you think finding buried chicken eggs would have compared with the riches of uncovering the unleavened bread which represents the manna that rested in the ark of God as an eternal reminder that the bread of life would give his life for us? We as believers have continued to perpetuate this farce because we inherited the lie as Jeremiah 16:19 foretold. We have believed what we have been taught just as we believed that tooth fairies give money in exchange for teeth, or fat men come down chimney’s bearing gifts for nice kids, or tricks would be given rather than treats if we don’t give candy to neighboring children wearing spooky clothing.

However, this upstaging isn’t anything new. The prophets clearly foretold about them, but in words that we gloss over in English because we don’t understand their meaning. The Queen of heaven being worshipped over YHWH is not just an Old Testament reality but is found in the New Testament as well. (Rev. 17) The famous question posed to the people then by Elijah concerning the two opinions that they must choose between was over this very issue. The word translated groves (1 Kings 18:19 – Hebrew word H842) is referencing the same goddess of fertility that we out of willful ignorance parade on Easter Sunday in mixed worship. We attach the word Easter which bears the name of this fertility goddess to the cross which is the last character of the Hebrew alphabet that represents the Sign of the covenant that Yahushah cut with his own blood for us. This is blasphemous, an abomination before our holy God that we need to repent of. It is equivalent to adultery, it wreaks of the same stench one would find if they came home to their spouse being in bed with another person. This defilement would be appalling and abominable to us. Placing Easter bunnies where only the Lamb of God should be allowed is the golden calf bringing us out of Egypt all over again. (Exodus 32) The Father is cleaning his bride up and we can’t afford to continue to walk in error.

I don’t expect that my exposition of the lie will result in making new friends, unless you have a love for the truth, just as Elijah didn’t receive praise from the powers that be for exposing this truth concerning these false prophets. Many of truth speakers have made enemies for sharing the truth. (Gal. 4:16) Likewise, I am sure that for those who are vested in the lie of Easter they will look for loopholes to make what they want to believe appear credible, my mandate comes from a higher source who says that your blood will be required at my hand if I don’t tell the truth. (Eze. 3:18) Thus this is my plea to all my readers, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, research what you do before you do it. Make sure that you are not perpetuating a lie in the lives of your children, you do not want to be the one responsible for putting the stumblingblock before them that will discredit you in the future. No lie is of the truth. (1 Jn 2:21) I encourage you my readers study to show yourself approved UNTO GOD, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed RIGHTLY dividing the WORD of truth. (2 Tim. 2:15) Do not be blind guides leading the blind (Matt. 15:14), but know the will of the Lord and stand for the truth even if you think that you are standing alone. For if we stand in truth we are never alone, Yah is always the majority in what is seemingly the minority in the situation.

Finally, for all that is holy do not let a bunny upstage the Lamb of God. Yahushah (Jesus) is the Passover Lamb, who fulfilled being the unleavened bread that took our leaven (a type of sin) to the grave, so that after three days and three nights he could be back in time to fulfill the Feast of Firstfruits as the first fruit of those raised from the dead which is why Mary could not touch him till he ascended unto the Father as THE Wave Offering of all times. This is the setting of the greatest truth ever told, these are the characters in the best script ever written, and YHWH is the producer and director orchestrating every word and motion.

Making Passover Personal

This year as I prepare for Passover we have been keeping it approximately since 2005. Every year it provides a new revelation of who the Lord is and what he desires of me as I read his word and understand more about him and myself. But this year I am coming to a revelation that Passover is personal. One of the things that we are doing this year is focusing on the worth-iness of the lamb. For worthy is the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. We are also focusing on the fact that he has also redeemed us out of the house of bondage; recognizing what he did for our forefather’s by bringing them out of the literal Egypt every year. This year we are incorporating the right now of God concerning what he has done in the lives of those who we have personally known or witnessed him bring out. Such Negro spirituals as “Go Down Moses” rings true to just how God brought us out of the clutches of Pharaoh, and how He is still bringing us out. This is taking place in layers because there still exist bondages that are enslaving our people and primarily that is because we have not trusted in God.        We have trusted in the arm of flesh rather than in the arms of Elohim. As a result we continue to find ourselves being reminded that only he can deliver us. Such reminders come when we look at Jena, Trayvon Martin, we look at so many scenarios in how our people are being imprisoned for the same thing that others are doing and yet we are not fitting into the system but becoming victims of it. We quickly discover when we play the world’s game we become the fall guy. The ones that get caught, imprisoned, killed. Now the inclination is to have our hearts embittered and make the same mistake of Esau rather than to look at the situation in the way that Yah looks at it. It’s not about us being able to get away with wrong on this end but rather pressing in to develop the relationship that the Father desires for us to have with him. In order to do that he is looking for a bride that is without spot, or blemish, or any such thing. He will not allow us to escape in an effort to get us to repent. Remembering that Yah chastises those whom He loves, and he has invested too much in us to let us leave earth without exhausting every opportunity to get us to return. All of this should teach us that if we desire to walk in the blessings of God we cannot do it our way.

When I say buck the system I am not referencing the system made by man, but rather we cannot buck the system that God has ordained. The system I am referring to that we buck is the system of statutes, and laws, and judgments that he has established for us. He ordained this system when he brought our forefathers out of Egypt, then bringing us into covenant with him. He would not allow us to be like the rest of the world serving wood and stone. We would not be able to turn to the arm of flesh for our deliverance. He already revealed this to us but rather we must trust and rely on Him and Him alone to deliver us from the snares of death. As I share what is really on my heart this year it is about us coming back into covenant with the Creator. It’s about us recognizing that he has and will bring us out of the bondages that we have been encapsulated by. He is exposing the false coverings so that we can clearly see the evil. We will have to turn our backs on what is right in order to miss it.

This year the focus is on taking out the old and bringing in the renewed. I say renewed because it’s not new it is just returning to the instructions that were revealed to us in Exodus. He stated that this Passover would be a statute that we would keep forever. He stated not only will it be commemorated but in Exodus twelve he reveals the year will begin in the self same month that we were set free. The phrase coined is “the beginning of months for you”, so that we know when his time begin. In fact this was so important that Paul reminds us that concerning his times and seasons we have no need that anyone writes to us in the first letter written to the Thessalonians. ( 1 Thess.5:1) Yet many of us have no clue of the times and seasons of the Lord because we have been brought up in a world system that believes the year begins during a Pagan month named “January” which is in honor of the two headed goddess “Janus”. This ignorance will prove to be important as many will be surprised by the things that will shortly come to pass just as it was in the time of Noah. (Lk 17:26-28)

We are so off track that we have even gotten off track concerning when a day begins. Where from the beginning of creation we see that the evening and the morning constituted a day with the evening being the marker for night and the beginning of a new day and daylight being the last half of the day. This confusion leading to our own demise as we know that the day of the Lord that we are in is characterized by great darkness. A darkness many of us are aware of as we watch the news and behold the devastation and confusion that is taking the world by storm. The times we live in is certainly not the example of peace that Yah reveals to us in his word that we will experience when he returns. However if we study his word carefully we discover that he has forewarned us that the day of the lord will begin as a day of great darkness. (Joel 2:1-2) The context of Joel clearly reveals that this is descriptive of the coming of the day of the Lord.

Having said that, the year that will begin in just a few days, is a time of restoring the ancient paths spoken of in scripture. We will surely regret not planting in the hearts of this new generation the truth. The days of Yah winking at our ignorance has certainly passed, and preparation for the kingdom is nigh at hand. We are in an age of personal responsibility for every choice that we make with ignorance not being a viable excuse we had better take the time given us to lead others to Him. Conforming to dead religious acts that deny the power of God will lead to us being held accountable before him.

This year the conviction that I received is that I have gone all out in terms of my time, talent, and treasury concerning things that have absolutely no true lasting value. Yet how much have I invested in honoring the Lamb of God. My heart has been filled with more joy at the thought of incorporating this year a lasting legacy for the next generation to glean from to return to the ancient path of scripture that leads to the narrow path to the Father. This year I encourage my readers to do the same begin looking for ways to honor Yahushah by pursuing the Father for ways that you can make Passover personal. Look for ways to share the meaning of Passover with your family, friends, and loved ones. Take advantage of all the resources we have been given in this generation to point it to him.

The Feast of Passover is all about the Lamb of God. It is the singular focus of the holiday and kicks off the feast for the year, along with marking the beginning of the year. Yah makes it clear in this feast that was celebrated for thousands of years before Yahushah came that it was going to be the blood of a sinless lamb that was going to save us from sin. This last Adam would correct all the faults of the first one in living obedient to the Father and suffering on the tree of death that we might have access to the tree of Life through Him. Passover is a beautiful story that highlights this awesome revelation and this year it is an honor to make His sacrifice for me personal.
