How to Understand the Will of YHVH for Your Life Day 7 Creation Week Revelation: Entering the Rest of God

It would seem a vacation after working would be appreciated and desired, but amazingly it’s one of the hardest things for people to do. We are so wired by Egypt to hustle, and bustle, to always be thinking about the next move that we don’t get to enjoy the fruit of the labor we have already done six days of this seven week cycle. Yet, the Creator of the universe rested on the Seventh day, and that alone should be an indication to us that on this journey in life that rest is an essential component to our well-being. Even the things made by man must rest at some point, how we have come to the determination that this is not an essential part of our health is beyond me. Nevertheless, those who refuse to take heed to the counsel of God will find themselves not only not blessed, but stressed.

Rest is a perfect picture of faith, that in a world of chaos and in a physical state that as man we find ourselves in need of such things as food, shelter, and clothing which requires work to acquire, retirement is the thing we are hoping for, yet not seen until well into our future. The goal for many of us is not to work until we are laid down in a casket, but the idea that our time of labor would reap the rewards of having ownership over our time. Where we can do as we please without having to set alarms in the morning, schedule time off for vacation or sickness, or leave for various reasons, but where we can enjoy the years of toil we have put in by having control of our time, talent, and treasury. The picture of rest was so important for us to understand that not only was it incorporated in the Creation week, but it was the first honeymoon given to man, and reiterated as one of the Ten Words (Commandments) we see written in Exodus 20. Yah never wanted us to forget the beginning (Genesis), and He never intended for us to keep our eyes off of the rest that only comes from Him, the Sabbath. Those who serve Him respect his gift of rest and denounce the spirit of Pharaoh that would refuse rest for the people. In this must have it now world it is very easy to side ourselves with the beast system that we are forced to serve and push ourselves to work seven days a week, but our God doesn’t call us to slavery, he calls us to peace. He calls us to rest in him and to recognize that He is our Source; everything else is a resource he provides for us.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. (Exo. 20:8-11)

Some may believe the focus is simply on taking a day to rest, but I would implore you to study the word Sabbath in scripture. One consistent thing you will find is that the word itself was always synonymous with the seventh day. If that wasn’t clear enough evidence let’s consider the fact that it is connected with the seventh year rest to the land, the Feast of Weeks counts seven Sabbath’s, in which misunderstanding of the day to rest will effect you counting appropriately to the Feast of Weeks. (Deut. 16:9)  The very last thing you want to be is late to an appointment with the Almighty.  Don’t believe me consider the five foolish virgins and their fate for tardiness.  Sounds of weeping and gnashing just doesn’t sound appealing to me. (Matt. 25)  Understanding what it means to rest takes time, because we have to deprogram ourselves from being the one’s in control of our lives, and requires that we trust Yah, and in our society that has it’s busiest shopping day and greatest temptations for pleasure on the seventh day we find ourselves seduced by our own desires.  However, if we ever find that place where we enter into that rest we get just a glimpse of what it will be like in eternity.  We find ourselves quiet enough to understand what it means to take His yoke upon us and to learn of Him. (Matt. 11:30)  We find that in scripture there is only one recorded day that Jesus healed people, and that day is the Sabbath.  I would think that, that alone should be reason enough to make sure we know what day that was, I mean if we are in need of healing we certainly wouldn’t want to miss the day that He will be providing it.  Even the man at the lake called beautiful understood the importance of being at the waters during the time that the Angel was said to trouble it for his breakthrough.

In a world where we are so sick unfortunately we don’t even realize until its destitute that we are in need of healing.  Our soul, our mind, and our bodies have sustained trauma that has had irreparable damage, that no scalpel in the most skillful of hands can cure, only the healing balm of the Almighty can reach those tender spaces.  Those fortunate enough to enter into His rest will find that balm and experience that weekly renewal.  Which is a picture of a much bigger rest to come, after ALL of the enemies of the Almighty are put down, including death itself. (Rev. 20:14)

Points to Ponder

I encourage you to study the Sabbath, make sure that you are resting, and that the day you are resting is in line with the Creator, not just your theology.  It is only the truth of His word that will deliver you NOT the word of man.  Be fully convinced based on the word of God concerning what the Sabbath is, and how we are to keep it.  Here are a few scriptures to start you off.

Gen. 2:2-3; Exo. 20:8-10; Isa. 58

How to Understand the Will of YHVH: Day 6: The Earth Brings Forth

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

Gen 1:24

On day 6 when Yah spoke the first thing he commands the earth to do is to bring forth. The connotation here is similar to that of a woman bringing forth a child into the earth.   On day 5 the sky and the waters brought forth it’s creature and on this day the land brings forth it’s creatures. Yah makes a distinction between us, and the creatures that come before our arrival; the common link that we share with land animals is that we came forth from the dust of the earth. Let’s keep reading we will then see the distinction that is important to dispel the myth of evolution, and why the belief that we come from these same creatures that were created at the beginning of day 6 shall not be, if we believe God and that he exists.

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:25

Again, notice that when God created every living creature that came before us that he makes it clear that they were created “after his kind”. Once again he repeats this for every beast, and cattle, and every creeping thing. Why? So that no one would get the idea that cross breeding between different kinds could exist. Thus a monkey can NEVER produce a human being because we are not of the same kind.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Gen 1:26-28

If we believe that God is indeed God and that he is not a man that he should lie then we must believe that this word that was written for us is true. The evidence of that belief is reflected in our acceptance of the verses written above. First and foremost what distinguishes us from the birds of the air, the fish of the sea, the beasts of the earth, and that which creepeth upon the earth is while God made it clear that it was good what he created before us, he never said about anything he created up to the point that he created man that they were in “his image and likeness”. He didn’t give the birds of the air dominion over the fish of the sea, or the beasts of the earth dominion over the creeping things of the earth. The power to reign, rule, and subdue the earth was given only to one created being and that was those who he said were in his image and likeness created male and female, them alone was dominion given. Work was created for Adam and Eve before they got here. Reinforcing the truth we know that idle minds are the devil’s workshop. When Yah created mankind he understood that he needed to have something to do. This is why so many men receive so much satisfaction from working, and many die after they retire. Why? Because wrapped up in what we do we find purpose, fulfillment meaning in life. The will of YHVH is not for mankind to walk aimlessly on this earth just fulfilling their own pleasures but to find fulfillment in discovering and living out their purpose by using their gifts that have been provided to them. We are not supposed to bury our gift but reproduce it. Touching other peoples lives with it, lest we lose it and our talent be given to another who will use and multiply it. Anything that wasn’t fruitful was hewn down, because dead weight can’t carry you to the next level. Accessing the dead weight in our lives is a good thing, because that which is not a part of your destiny is a distraction from it.

Questions to Ponder:

  • What did God instruct you to do with your life? If you don’t know have you asked? Scripture teaches we have not because we ask not, and he also covered if we ask and don’t receive. If we come to God wanting something just to fulfill our own pleasures we won’t get what we asked for. (James 4:1-3)
  • How do you value your life? Do you see yourself as less than or mediocre? Do you see yourself as being made in the image and likeness of God? Does your life and the way you carry yourself represent an example of the Father who you were patterned after? If you don’t evaluate who or what is in your life or who or what is not in your life that is giving you a false image of the original intent of your design?

How To Understand The Will of YHVH for your Life: Day 4 Created To Be A Sign That Shines

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

Gen. 1:14-15

Notice where YHVH put the lights? Far removed from the earth and in a place visible to every place on the earth. Why? A sign must have the ability to be perceived in some way in order to be effective. A sign is for a purpose it ministers to every living creature underneath it. As we were instructed by our Messiah to preach the Gospel to every creature, because not only were we affected by the sin of Adam, but as the scripture also says the whole creation groaneth and travaileth waiting for the children of God to appear. (Mark 16:15; Rom. 8:21-22) A sign tells you something important and like an exclamation mark it is set apart to reflect attention to itself. A moon big enough that you feel like you can reach out and touch it can’t be overlooked, you can choose to ignore it, or dismiss it, but those who pay attention, know what time it is, and can map their way by it. Perception and understanding is important this is why scripture rewards the person who understands and perceives. See you can see and not see, and you can hear and not hear, but the person who can see and hear is liken unto the wise virgins who understood the importance of having a vessel full of oil, in the event the Lord delays his coming. (Matt. 25)

Signs give clear direction to the person perceptive enough to pay attention, and know what it means. This is the second time in Creation that God is going to say something about “lights” being created. On day one there was no sun, moon, or stars, only God, He himself lit the world up for four days. By day four He shared the light that was within himself with the world in the expression of a Great light to rule the day (the Sun) and a lesser light (the moon) to rule the night and what was after that was fragments of light that salt and peppered the sky called (stars).

Notice that signs is only the first part of how these lights function, they are also said to be for seasons. Your ability to know whether it is summer or fall will be based on these same signs in the sky. In our lives seasons will change and our ability to discern that change will be based on understanding how the heavenly bodies directly relate to our lives. What happens when you haven’t accomplished what you should have within the season that was provided? Does it carry forward or must we shift our thinking and our purpose to fit with the new season ahead of us?

Time is not forever, and if the changing of days and the shifting of light doesn’t tell us anything else it tells us that time is continuing, and every day we receive new mercies, why? Because gradually, but continuously even as the days change and new days arise, so also does our purpose have to change. Yesterday’s mercy isn’t extended to us today, or tomorrow, therefore new mercies must be provided for new days. You can’t recapture or accomplish what you were graced to do yesterday tomorrow, and the more tomorrows that come the less possible it will be to recapture the things you had in your heart to do years before. These signs are a constant reminder that we are on borrowed time, and any unnecessary baggage only serves as a distraction from fulfilling today’s purpose. Thus, while it is yet day we are NOT to harden our heart. Why? Because a hard heart can’t hear God and without hearing the Father you are destined to miss out on fulfilling in the season you’re in your purpose.

How many of us go to bed haunted by NOT meeting the goals that we have established for the day? How much of that could really be our acknowledging how short we are falling of fulfilling HIS desire for us in that day. Let’s consider what all God is accomplishing in a day. We have gone passed four of them and we all should agree that if we had to do all that he did on any single day it would be a massive undertaking. On day six He created us in His image and likeness, that being said what do you think His expectation of us would be? We all are going to have to give a reckoning or account of what we did with the signs and seasons he has given us. No excuses are going to be acceptable, we are either going to find hits or suffer the loss of the misses in our fulfillment of this work HE is doing. This is why understanding the will of God is so vitally important. Every day we put a new piece in the puzzle that makes up His overall plan for our life. The goal is to have the puzzle complete before we leave. Paul put it this way, he finished his course. (2 Tim 4:7) We do not want to leave any pieces behind because every one of us have our own puzzle to finish that we will put together with every other persons piece until we accomplish this amazing plan that God has laid out since Day One.

This brings me to the next thing these lights were to tell us, he didn’t stop at just signs and seasons, but stated that these lights were also for days. What we have touched on is the importance of our days.  How they are numbered just as the stars are numbered, and some days we can seemingly see every star, other days we see them shooting, and some days we don’t see them at all because they are hidden. While we may never live long enough to accurately number every star as sure as the Lord knows every number of hair on our head he knows the numbers of the stars and our days are accounted for. The bottom line is that is how we are, there are some days that we are shooting and moving amidst the stagnate stars around us making our mark. But how many of us can say we see shooting stars everyday? This is not a good thing we should always be moving in a way that others when they see us, sees Him high and lifted up. Our star should make people have to look up as every shooting star does exactly that. It calls you to attention, make you stop what you are doing and notice it’s presence. Unfortunately, many of us don’t have clear nights where the world can see us because instead we are hiding it under a bushel, or we are being distracted by the grey clouds that seek to distract us from living. Thus, most days we are like those stars hidden above the clouds. Our hidden visibility spanning years rather than just days.

This is the final thing lights are for, years. When we delay our purpose we find ourselves further behind schedule.  Signs in the heaven can tell us things that will happen years away.  Which is the other end of the spectrum.  Just as Daniel who received amazing revelation about things that would take place long after he was gone, we do serve the same God who has not stopped sharing revelation about the future with his people.  The only ones who lack benefit from this truth are those who refuse to listen.  Abraham had things put in place in his life and made decisions concerning his life based on a reality he would not live to see with his physical eye.  Yah even told Abraham to look at the stars in the heaven and prophetically revealed to him that his seed would be as numerous as they were. (Gen. 15:5)  Therefore, the stars in the heaven can tell us the future, but we must always remember that the future it tells is not focused on us, but on the One who created them.  They tell us about the Messiah, even as the wise men who sought the Christ knew by the stars that he had been born. (Matt. 2)

Questions to ponder?

What are you doing with the time Yah has given you?

Are you still focused on accomplishing tasks that’s time has passed in your life?

Is your heart open and receptive to what Yah is speaking for you to do today?

Have you put aside dead weights that seek to hinder you from fulfilling more perfectly God’s plan for your life?

How To Understand The Will Of YHVH For Our Lives: Day Three: Gathering To Be Fruitful

It has been a while, but I haven’t forgotten the series, just enjoying the Feast days provided by our Heavenly Father.  A break from routine can be refueling for the Soul.  So we are now on Day Three and there is much to learn and much to see.  We will dissect and digest every morsel the Father has provided for us in this day of Creation to see how it impacts His Will for Our lives.
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Gen 1:9

Throughout scripture we see this theme being carried out rather for good or evil. At the tower of Babel people gathered together, in opposition to Yah, yet even He recognized the power in their unity. Thus His response to confuse their speech was predicated by the statement, because they are one, nothing shall be impossible for them. (Gen. 11:6) It’s when the body reaches unity in the faith that it reaches maturity. (Eph. 4:13)

And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:10

The theme of dividing, the element of two gatherings with opposing ideologies, directions, and functions. Before fruitfulness can take place there must be a separating and gathering of the waters. Like wheat from the tares, or authentic and counterfeit money it is only after the dividing of that which is evil is separated from that which is righteous, then and only then can effective fruitfulness for the kingdom be achieved. It’s when we gather with those who have the water that we realize how dry we were without it. It is in the presence of those with the same motivation and who are walking in their purpose that we begin to discover our own, and it is out of that discovery that we begin to find peace with ourselves and others around us, and can genuinely rejoice with others who fulfill theirs. Remembering Yah’s desire is for us to be fruitful and multiply and He is not looking for any type of fruit but quality fruit. This is even evident in the distinction between how he received Cain and Abel’s offering. Any kind of fruit, any kind of way is not acceptable. He wants good fruit, and abundant fruit. This can’t be achieved retrieving mixed teachings, only that pure wisdom that comes from above will provide the direction needed that is put in place by Yah’s built in organized family structure.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:11-12

Every seed yielded fruit after its kind. What kind are you?   We can’t begin to understand the will of God for our lives if we don’t know what kind we are. You can spend your entire life trying to become an orange tree when your seed is that which came from an apple. What ends up happening if you do that is you will stifle your fruit and you will be barren instead of fruitful.

The days of Creation are ordinal for life, meaning every detail put in place was essential to preparation for the next. Shooting out as a star, or having your brightness shine forth as the noon day requires separating from that which is dry and congregating with that which hydrates and nourishes, and cleanses the body like water. It’s hard to get all the nutrients your body needs if it is clogged. Understanding the order of God in the creation week helps us understand the order we should have in life. Recognizing that every piece to our particular puzzle has a specific place it needs to be and some pieces won’t be readily identifiable until other pieces are in place. I can’t expect to read well without knowing the alphabet. Understanding Yah’s order, and understanding what seed you are in His garden is key to unlocking the mystery of His will for your life.

Take some time to find out what “kind” you are. Ask the Father for understanding as to what He put you here on earth to do and access if the things you are doing are preparing you for that or hindering you from completing that. It would be a terrible thing to have spent your life following your own will, thinking that this was the will of God for you. Which is why we are covering this area. The more we understand who we are and why we are here the better it will be for the entire body of Christ. Every joint supplying what the body needs require every joint knowing what it is supposed to do.

It excites me to see people living our their purpose and fulfilling God’s will, it serves as an example and motivation to know that He has one for me, and if for me I know for you. He desires for us to be fruitful, and you don’t have to have children come out of your body to achieve that. As the scripture have said more are the children of the barren. (1 Sam. 2:5) If you have raised up seed to fulfill the “kind” that the Lord has called them to be, then you have bore seed unto Yah which is far more precious then just bearing seed in the natural. Many bear seed in the natural and cast them aside, whereas those who don’t bear in the natural, take in the natural seed and birth them in the Spirit such that they know who they are and what they were called here to do. For which is better to be born in the natural or to be born in the Spirit? Or should I say which is of greater profit to the Kingdom of God, to be born in the natural or to be born again in the Spirit?

In day three this is what you will discover, and I encourage you to ponder each question, chew on it, and let it regurgitate and chew some more, for there is much the Father has to say about His will for your life, but until now many haven’t been listening. This is the time to take out and meditate on His word and get instruction and direction.

Serpentwisdom1It is not too late to pre-order the book that will change how you fight this spiritual fight we have.  Have the wisdom of the serpent to know how to discern your enemies next move before it’s made.  Figure out how to avoid the traps that enslave so many?  Wisdom, is the principle thing and in all thy getting getting an understanding is important.  There is a reason why Jesus (Yehoshua) would tell us in Matt. 10:14 to be as wise as serpents.  Do you know why?  If not then you will want to pre-order and begin checking it out.  Book still in production but will be forthcoming.

How to Understand the Will of YHVH for Your Life: Day Two Divided by Divine Mandate

We discovered on Day One that when Yah (God) spoke, things happened. Let’s decode the prophetic mystery that everyone who successfully completes day one find themselves entering into. Remembering that until we hear and embrace the voice of YHVH to come in through the only door he has made available to Him, which is Yahushah. It is not until the Light of the World invade our darkness that we are able to graduate from day one. Until the Almighty speaks the only thing we have is no form, void, and darkness saturating us. Yet, as stated last week, being born is not the end of eternal life in the Kingdom of Yah but rather is the beginning of life. So let’s see how day two provides instruction for us concerning God’s plan for our lives.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. (Gen. 1:6-8)

The theme of day two is separation. Much as a baby who is born must be cleaned up from the process of being born, we too as believers come into this walk with a lot of unclean ways that have to be cleaned up. However, unlike a newborn our cleansing will take a lot more time, this process represents the beginning of our working out of salvation.   Just as a baby isn’t expected to clean themselves notice who does the dividing on this day? It is God who does the dividing, our response is to submit to Him to do the cleaning. When he enters in our hearts He comes in with a mop, and His word is the disinfecting agent that cleanses us from our unrighteousness. As we allow the Light of His word to invade our darkness and to separate us from the water below and continuously feed us of the water above we find ourselves being renewed day by day. Cleansed by the washing of the water of the word. (Eph. 5:26)

One of the consistent experiences those who begin to walk with Christ discover is that they no longer want to do the things they used to do, and by design that means that it changes the allegiances we once had. Either your friends will make the changes you made or they will drop by the way side. You’ll find yourself making new friends who have a similar interest to fulfill God’s mission for them in life. In fact these friends will be like family to you in many ways, and depending on your natural families relationship with Christ will be closer than your natural family.

While it was never the will of YHVH for Adam and Eve to eat from the tree that brought forth death, we see that from the foundation of the world he planned for what could happen. The ultimate will of God for our lives is for us to trust and obey him. Hearing His will for our lives requires that we search ourselves for any hidden motives or agenda’s that are contrary to His will. In some cases if we are not hearing Him it is because of the distractions that we have put into place.

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. (James 4:3)

Dirty water indeed can be very distracting. It is only when we change the direction of our eyes that we are able to see the clear distinction between the two.

  1. What is it that you are looking at that is distracting you from seeing YHVH?
  2. Are there any hidden areas of your life that you are ignoring rather than submitting to Him for cleansing?
  3. How embracing are you of the changes he desires to make to your life?

The cleansing part of this process doesn’t help you understand His will for your life it is the necessary process to getting to His will. Let’s consider when YHVH meets with His people in the wilderness. They had three days of cleansing, separating themselves, and in a nutshell preparation for coming before the Holy God. This cleansing didn’t provide them instruction for what Yah’s will was for them, it positioned them so that they could hear His instructions, because He is Holy and NO flesh will glory in His presence. (Exo. 19) The cleaner we get the more prepared we will be for drawing nearer, and the closer we get to Him the closer we get to His will, which hasn’t changed from the beginning. To be in His image and likeness.

Serpentwisdom1

Coming very soon, putting the finishing touches on it.  But this is a definite need to have.  IF we ever needed wisdom we need it today.  Being wise as a serpent is a particularly important trait to have.  Once this booklet is complete we will be ready to move on to the other part of the instructions in Matt. 10:16 which is to be ye also as harmless as Doves.

How To Understand The Will of YHVH for Your Life: In The Beginning

Day One: In The Beginning…

“In the beginning, God…”Genesis 1 now if I stopped right there I have already said a mouthful. However, there are so many things I would like to say with just those four words quoted. First of all before words were spoken, before waters were moved over, before time itself there was God, Elohim, Omnipresent, Magnificent, Awesome, and Mighty in power, God. Now let’s make it personal, in our beginning there is God, and it is only until we receive Him as our Elohim do we enter into real life, the born again life.

Gen 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Gen 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The broad road reveals that many people live their entire lives never living past being without form, being void (empty), and in the dark. They never complete day one in their development in life. They spend day in and day out existing without knowing who they are, whose they are, and where they are going. Yet, even they are accounted for in the six days of work that God did here in Genesis. He left nobody out in His plan, and He gives us a choice to either stay out or to allow His Spirit to move upon the face of the deep waters of our heart so that we can experience the warmth of what’s about to happen next.

Gen 1:3  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

God begins to speak to us, first in Creation, and secondly of the work that His son Yahushah will do in our hearts. Notice what happens when He speaks? The entrance of light comes into the world. We know the Gospel tells us that Jesus (Yahushah) is the light of the world. (John 8:12) But not only that, he didn’t just say he was the light of the world, but he also said that we who are His are the light of the world. (Matt 5:14) Reminding us that from the beginning of creation we were not an afterthought but a forethought in the mind of God. Lack of understanding the purpose of our humanity and the responsibility God laid at our feet when the breath of life was given to us has caused many of us to live our lives aimlessly, selfishly, and wastefully.

If you or someone you know have not entered into the light of day one, then I encourage you to take this time to talk to the only One who can save you. To confess your sins to the High Priest chosen by the Creator of the Universe Jesus Christ (YaHoshua Ha Maschiach). Acknowledge Him as your Master, the Lord of your life, which means he has the privilege and the right to instruct you concerning how you should live and as any good parent would, he does lead you into the fullness of life. All of his instructions (laws) are given so that we can have life and that more abundantly.

Gen 1:4  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Gen 1:5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Now as we bring the first day to a close notice that God said, first that when he saw the light that the light was good. The next thing he does is separate that which is good, the light from the darkness. Notice that he doesn’t say the darkness was good, but that the light was good. Darkness is there, but it is only when we come out of it, into light that it is good. My prayer today is that as you discover who you are and whose you are that you will come out of darkness, into His light. Allow the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha Khodesh) to move over the face of the waters of your heart and you will submit to His leading you into the word of God which brings the entrance of light. Often as believers we can get stagnate in our faith, where we camp on being born and stunt our growth. We don’t continue to cycle through God’s week and as a result miss out on more light to shine in our darkness. The only thing that can happen when we live this way is death, just as that is all that stagnate water leads to. It is only as the Spirit moves the water that we have life moving in the water.  Nothing that requires life to live can live in stagnate places. Stirring the water is an essential part of having healthy life. So if you are a believer which I hope you are, and you have been walking with God for a while but find yourself in a stagnate place, call upon the Lord, as Peter called upon Jesus when he found himself falling in that water. (Matt. 14:28) It’s okay to come out in the water and walk with Christ, just remember not to take your eyes off of him if you don’t want to fall.
