We discovered on Day One that when Yah (God) spoke, things happened. Let’s decode the prophetic mystery that everyone who successfully completes day one find themselves entering into. Remembering that until we hear and embrace the voice of YHVH to come in through the only door he has made available to Him, which is Yahushah. It is not until the Light of the World invade our darkness that we are able to graduate from day one. Until the Almighty speaks the only thing we have is no form, void, and darkness saturating us. Yet, as stated last week, being born is not the end of eternal life in the Kingdom of Yah but rather is the beginning of life. So let’s see how day two provides instruction for us concerning God’s plan for our lives.
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. (Gen. 1:6-8)
The theme of day two is separation. Much as a baby who is born must be cleaned up from the process of being born, we too as believers come into this walk with a lot of unclean ways that have to be cleaned up. However, unlike a newborn our cleansing will take a lot more time, this process represents the beginning of our working out of salvation. Just as a baby isn’t expected to clean themselves notice who does the dividing on this day? It is God who does the dividing, our response is to submit to Him to do the cleaning. When he enters in our hearts He comes in with a mop, and His word is the disinfecting agent that cleanses us from our unrighteousness. As we allow the Light of His word to invade our darkness and to separate us from the water below and continuously feed us of the water above we find ourselves being renewed day by day. Cleansed by the washing of the water of the word. (Eph. 5:26)
One of the consistent experiences those who begin to walk with Christ discover is that they no longer want to do the things they used to do, and by design that means that it changes the allegiances we once had. Either your friends will make the changes you made or they will drop by the way side. You’ll find yourself making new friends who have a similar interest to fulfill God’s mission for them in life. In fact these friends will be like family to you in many ways, and depending on your natural families relationship with Christ will be closer than your natural family.
While it was never the will of YHVH for Adam and Eve to eat from the tree that brought forth death, we see that from the foundation of the world he planned for what could happen. The ultimate will of God for our lives is for us to trust and obey him. Hearing His will for our lives requires that we search ourselves for any hidden motives or agenda’s that are contrary to His will. In some cases if we are not hearing Him it is because of the distractions that we have put into place.
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. (James 4:3)
Dirty water indeed can be very distracting. It is only when we change the direction of our eyes that we are able to see the clear distinction between the two.
- What is it that you are looking at that is distracting you from seeing YHVH?
- Are there any hidden areas of your life that you are ignoring rather than submitting to Him for cleansing?
- How embracing are you of the changes he desires to make to your life?
The cleansing part of this process doesn’t help you understand His will for your life it is the necessary process to getting to His will. Let’s consider when YHVH meets with His people in the wilderness. They had three days of cleansing, separating themselves, and in a nutshell preparation for coming before the Holy God. This cleansing didn’t provide them instruction for what Yah’s will was for them, it positioned them so that they could hear His instructions, because He is Holy and NO flesh will glory in His presence. (Exo. 19) The cleaner we get the more prepared we will be for drawing nearer, and the closer we get to Him the closer we get to His will, which hasn’t changed from the beginning. To be in His image and likeness.
Coming very soon, putting the finishing touches on it. But this is a definite need to have. IF we ever needed wisdom we need it today. Being wise as a serpent is a particularly important trait to have. Once this booklet is complete we will be ready to move on to the other part of the instructions in Matt. 10:16 which is to be ye also as harmless as Doves.
